The Frost Autogen software leverages Mathworks’ HDL coder to generate custom VHDL components from a Simulink model, then automatically creates wrappers for these components, generates and compiles fully functional Quartus projects, and creates Linux Device Drivers which can be controlled from the Frost Web App.

Frost Edge contains three key elements to deploy the Frost Autogen Algorithm: The Web App, The Deployment Manager, and hardware specific Linux Kernel Modules (LKMs). These components allow the developer to deploy Frost Autogen Algorithms to hardware in realtime.
