Audio Research

Overview

The Audio Research is a high performance audio processing daughter card designed to be used with the Reflex CES Achilles System-on-Module (SoM). This daughter card contains an AD1939 audio codec that can sample data from either line in or microphone inputs and can output audio to two pairs of mini-xlr connectors, headphone out, and/or line out. Additionally, the daughter card is built with an RJ45 connector that can be used to interface with an Audio Logic Microphone Array to perform basic audio processing tasks such as spatial filtering. The Audio Research passes data to an Arria 10 FPGA for ultra low-latency processing, which makes the platform ideally suited for research environments. The Audio Research can also be used with the FPGA Open Speech Tools' code generation tool to simplify algorithm development.
